Crypto PAC-backed candidates take significant advantage in US election primaries
According to Blockworks news, several candidates supported by political action committees (PACs) focused on cryptocurrencies have a significant advantage in the US primary elections. Congressional candidates from Texas, California, North Carolina, Alabama, Indiana, and West Virginia benefited from donations from crypto PACs, and many of their supported candidates appear to be winning. Among them, Protect Progress spent about $1.7 million from the end of January to the end of February to support Democrat Shomari Figures, who entered the final election on Tuesday.
