Bank of America's Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo Offer Bitcoin ETFs to Clients
Bank of America's Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo are reportedly offering spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to clients who specifically request exposure to them. This move by the two Wall Street wealth management giants could potentially bring more buying power to the market for bitcoin ETFs. The ETFs have already seen tremendous demand since their launch in January, with a record $7.7 billion worth of all the funds traded on Wednesday alone. Morgan Stanley is also reportedly considering offering clients the option to invest in the funds.
