AI robot company Figure announced the completion of a $675 million financing, with a valuation of $2.6 billion. Investors include Microsoft, OpenAI Startup Fund, Nvidia, Jeff Bezos (through Bezos Expeditions), Parkway Venture Capital, Intel Capital, Align Ventures, etc. In addition, Figure has signed a cooperation agreement with OpenAI to develop the next generation of artificial intelligence models for humanoid robots. Figure will use Microsoft Azure as its platform for AI infrastructure, training, and storage.
