Tether CEO predicts more funds will increase their holdings of Bitcoin
BlockBeats News, on February 28th, according to The Block, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino predicts that Bitcoin will increasingly integrate into traditional finance, with growing interest in the world's first cryptocurrency, including hedge funds, pension funds, and enterprises.
Ardoino is also the Chief Technology Officer of Bitfinex. On Tuesday, he gave a speech with Blockstream CEO Adam Back at an online event hosted by the trading platform. During the live broadcast, Ardoino said that it is expected that with the approval of the US spot Bitcoin ETF, more fund managers will be interested in including Bitcoin in their portfolios. He also said that fund managers are increasingly interested in raising the proportion of Bitcoin in their investment portfolios to five percent.
