ENS DAO approves $300,000 settlement to end eth.link domain name lawsuit
Ethereum domain name service ENS Labs has obtained approval from its DAO and paid a settlement of $300,000 to Manifold Finance to end the eth.link domain name lawsuit. ENS founder Nick Johnson stated that Manifold requested a payment of $300,000, plus confidentiality and non-disparagement clauses, in order to dismiss the case and allow ENS Labs to retain ownership of eth.link.
