BlackRock labels BTC 'progressive' in its latest Bitcoin ETF ad
According to Cointelegraph, BlackRock seems to have increased its media advertising efforts for its recently launched exchange-traded fund for Bitcoin trading, referring to Bitcoin as "progress" rather than currency. The latest ad reads, "Bitcoin ETF has landed," and only shows silhouettes of a runway and an airplane. However, BlackRock also added the headline, "Share your progress."Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas said the new IBIT ad is concise, modern, and effective. It strikes a balance between boring traditional fund company ads and "hey, kids" type ads. He added that the company is on the verge of "losing its position as the king of category liquidity," so it makes sense to cut a path with more advertising.
