Hacken: 2 wallets that transferred Ripple’s stolen funds are related to “XRP authorized wallets”
After hackers stole $112 million worth of XRP, Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen claimed that the funds came from his personal XRP account. However, an investigation by Web3 security audit platform Hacken found that two wallets involved in transferring the funds were related to "XRP authorized wallets". The investigation revealed that the new address involved in a $64 million transaction was directly related to XRP address packages, and there were some outgoing and incoming transactions between them. It is worth noting that it also involved wallets related to the transfer of stolen funds.
Hacken said: "This investigation has revealed a complex transaction network, some of which have returned to XRP. Two wallets connected to XRP authorized wallets played a key role in this incident. It is still too early to draw conclusions, but the story is becoming more and more interesting."
