MicroStrategy increased its holdings of 850 Bitcoins in January, and its holdings increased to 190,000 as of February 5
MicroStrategy (MSTR.O) announced that as of February 5th, 2024, the company holds 190,000 bitcoins with a total cost of 5.93 billion USD and an average cost of 31,224 USD per bitcoin.
The company stated that in January of this year, it spent 37.2 million USD to purchase an additional 850 bitcoins. Since the end of the third quarter of last year, it has purchased an additional 31,755 bitcoins, which is the largest quarterly increase in scale in the past three years. It is also the 13th consecutive quarter that the company has increased its holdings of bitcoin on its balance sheet.
