Coinbase: Expect macro factors to become more relevant to the digital asset class in the coming weeks
cryptocurrency trading platform Coinbase released its "Weekly: Constructive Outlook" report, expecting macro factors to become more relevant to digital asset categories in the coming weeks, which could support performance. They also stated that the possibility of a soft landing seems to have increased compared to a few months ago, as the US economy appears to have made minimal balance between economic activity and inflation.
Coinbase analysts believe that the deflationary trend will continue and expect the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates by 100 basis points this year. They expect the US to begin cutting interest rates in May and gradually reducing quantitative tightening policies shortly thereafter, coinciding with special events such as Bitcoin halving and creating a positive environment for a wider range of asset categories.
