Celestia (TIA) raised $1.5 million in seed funding and sold 159,000,000 tokens at a price of just $0.0094 per token. Mustafa Al-Bassam, co-founder of Celestia, stated that the team spent several months convincing their first investor, George Lambeth, to participate in 2019, when Lambeth was still a college student. According to Rootdadata and his personal profile, Lambeth is a co-founder of Divergence Ventures and a member of the dao5 team. In addition to Celestia, Lambeth has also participated in seed funding rounds for Arbitrum and Avalanche.
