EU member states vote to approve final text of Artificial Intelligence Act
EU member states have voted to approve the final text of the EU "Artificial Intelligence Act". On February 2, France and Germany withdrew their objections to the bill. The "Artificial Intelligence Act" will be voted on by a crucial EU legislative committee on February 13, followed by a vote in the European Parliament in March or April, and is expected to be implemented in 2026, with specific provisions taking effect in advance.
