Root Protocol releases ISME token economics: 1 billion in total, 10% used for community pre-sale
Web3 digital identity service provider Root Protocol officially announced the token economics of its native token ISME, with a total supply of 1 billion tokens.
The allocation and distribution details of the tokens are as follows:
- Angel round: price of $0.015, total of 60 million tokens, accounting for 6%, with quarterly unlocking over 24 months, with a cliff period for the first 3 months.
- Strategic round: price of $0.03, total of 100 million tokens, accounting for 10%, with 5% unlocking at launch and quarterly unlocking over 18 months thereafter.
- Private round I: price of $0.04-0.06, total of 90 million tokens, accounting for 9%, with 10% unlocking at launch and quarterly unlocking over 18 months thereafter.
- Private round II: price of $0.08-0.10, total of 40 million tokens, accounting for 4%, with 10% unlocking at launch and quarterly unlocking over 18 months thereafter.
- Community pre-sale: price of $0.08, total of 10 million tokens, accounting for 1%, with 25% unlocking at launch and quarterly unlocking over 3 months thereafter.
- Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP): total of 100 million tokens, accounting for 10%, with 100% unlocking at launch.
- Community and ecosystem: total of 150 million tokens, accounting for 15%, with 0 unlocking at launch and quarterly unlocking over 48 months thereafter.
- Operational reserve: total of 150 million tokens, accounting for 15%, with 0 unlocking at launch and quarterly unlocking over 48 months thereafter.
- Treasury: total of 150 million tokens, accounting for 15%, with 0 unlocking at launch and quarterly unlocking over 48 months thereafter.
- Team: total of 150 million tokens, accounting for 15%, with no unlocking for the first 24 months and quarterly unlocking over 48 months thereafter.
The ISME token aims to provide multiple access to specific products or services within Root Protocol, with its utility including but not limited to voting/governance, payment fees, staking, and distribution as rewards/bounties. It is reported that whitelist and KYC are mandatory requirements for joining the community pre-sale.
