Vitalik: The combination of AI and blockchain technology is challenging but worth looking forward to
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik published a blog post exploring the prospects and challenges of combining encryption with artificial intelligence. Vitalik stated that allowing individual players to become artificial intelligence, while keeping the underlying mechanisms of blockchain unchanged, would be the most promising and easiest-to-implement use case, enabling the mechanism to operate effectively on a more microscopic scale. In addition, the most challenging aspect currently is attempting to use blockchain and encryption technologies to create "singleton" applications: decentralized and trustworthy artificial intelligence that certain applications rely on for a specific purpose. These applications have the potential to improve functionality and enhance the security of artificial intelligence, while avoiding the centralized risks associated with more mainstream approaches to solving this problem. However, the underlying assumptions may also fail in many ways.
