Polyhedra Network partners with EigenLayer to introduce double staking mechanism for Bitcoin zkBridge
ZK interoperability infrastructure Polyhedra Network partnered with Ethereum's re-staking protocol EigenLayer to build a cross-chain protocol from Ethereum to Bitcoin network. It uses zero-knowledge proof technology and introduces a dual-staking mechanism, and ensures network security through a penalty mechanism to bridge Ethereum with Bitcoin network. zkBridge uses EigenLayer's decentralization and economic trust on Ethereum to bring secure interoperability to Bitcoin. Previously, zkBridge stated that it is working with multiple development teams, including various infrastructure, Bitcoin Layer 2 network, wallets, DeFi protocols, and tools applied to the Bitcoin ecosystem.
