Worldcoin's Orb device, which assigns users a "World ID" through iris scanning, is getting an upgrade with alternative colors and a more user-friendly design similar to an Apple product. The new Orb will be released in the first half of this year. Worldcoin, created by Tools for Humanity, has raised $250 million from investors and has seen over 3 million people sign up for its application. Despite facing criticism for targeting developing economies during beta testing, the company aims to race towards billions of users.
