407 chain games will stop running in 2023, accounting for 31%
The Big Blockchain Game List created by Jon Jordan shows that out of the 1322 blockchain games listed to be included in 2023, 407 have already ceased operations, accounting for 31%.Most of the 407 closed games were shut down in the first half of last year: 248 games were closed in the first half of 2023, while 162 games were closed in the second half. Among the games closed in the second half of 2023, 50 games (31%) had already been launched, while the remaining 69% were in the development stage when they were shut down.There were 18 games closed on the BNB chain, the largest number among mainstream chains, followed closely by Polygon with 17 games closed. In the second half of 2023, 10 blockchain games on Ethereum were closed, while Sui and Solana each closed 9 games. (CryptoSlate)
