Hedera plans to allocate 4.86 billion HBAR to develop the ecosystem
According to official sources, the Hedera Council has announced that it has voted to approve the allocation of an additional 4.86 billion HBAR tokens by the Board of Directors, for further development of the Hedera network and decentralized governance. Of these, 4.248 billion HBAR tokens will be allocated by the Hedera Board of Directors under existing plans, including the HBAR Foundation, Hashgraph Association, and DLT Science Foundation.According to various protocols, the HBAR Foundation and Hashgraph Association will receive funding in the first quarter, while the DLT Science Foundation will receive funding when milestones are reached throughout the year. 614.06 million HBAR tokens will be used for Hedera Committee operating expenses and payments to early SAFT buyers.
