Chiru Labs, the company behind Azuki and Beanz, has announced a collaboration with renowned director Goro Taniguchi to create an animated anthology series. Taniguchi is the creator of many well-known anime projects such as Code Geass and One Piece: Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island. He stated that this collaboration will bring a new anime experience to audiences. Azuki will work with Taniguchi to release three complete stories, each with its own director and character artist. The goal is to expand the influence of the Azuki IP and connect with anime fans worldwide. The series is planned to be released later this year.
