Eric Balchunas: Although some evidence points to hacking, I still insist that the tweet came from within the SEC
Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas launched a poll on social media asking "Where do you think the 'approved' tweet came from?" Among the respondents, 82.3% voted for the tweet coming from within the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, while 17.7% voted for it coming from outside the SEC. Balchunas said that although there is some evidence pointing to a hack, I still stick to my original theory (at present), that it came from within the SEC and a scheduled tweet had a problem.
