The Polkadot ecosystem DeFi protocol Acala announced plans to burn 159,441 ACA on December 26. Acala stated that the burning of ACA is part of Acala 2.0, with the specific amount burned each time determined by factors such as the number of unused released tokens, network fees, and governance votes.
