Atomics Market announced that it will compensate users for the 28,000 ATOM they lost due to hacking incidents.
According to an official announcement on December 15th, Atomicals Market reported that it suffered a hacker attack on November 25th, resulting in a loss of 23,000 ATOM for its users. This incident occurred before the new team took over, and like the previous hacker incident, it was mainly caused by the improper use of an insecure signature SIGHASH_NONE | ANYONECANPAY. In addition, it was found that five users lost 5,000 ATOM in other similar hacker attacks.
Atomicals Market will compensate for the 28,000 ATOM lost in this incident. The compensated ATOM will be airdropped to the victims' addresses in the next 48 hours. In addition, if users need to change the recipient address for compensation, they should open a ticket on their Discord.
