Brazilian President Has Signed Cryptocurrency Tax Bill
On December 15th, it was reported that Brazilian President Luis Inácio Lula da Silva signed Law No. 14,754 on December 12th, which requires Brazilian citizens to pay 15% of their profits from cryptocurrency income. This law will come into effect on January 1, 2024.
