SEC chairman refuses to say whether he will approve Bitcoin spot ETF
Jay Clayton, the chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), refused to disclose whether he would approve a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF). He stated that the SEC is currently evaluating 8-12 Bitcoin ETFs and reiterated concerns about the lack of sufficient regulation in the cryptocurrency space.
