Bitcoin Ordinals EVM expansion protocol Veda announces indefinite postponement
On December 10th, Bitcoin Ordinals EVM expansion protocol Veda announced on social media that the launch of the protocol will be indefinitely postponed due to force majeure, while Veda-core and Veda-bvm will be open-sourced.
It is reported that two hours before the announcement of the delay, Veda had announced that the protocol was about to launch and had established its token economics and token standards, and had already established an index for its Ordinals service. Subsequently, detailed personal information of the project founder was made public within the community.
According to official information, its official social media account was established in October of this year, and the first content was published in early November. Veda aims to solve the problem of the lack of Layer 1 smart contracts in Bitcoin without changing the core consensus of Bitcoin. It introduces an off-chain index to verify Veda data on Ordinals and provide status queries for contracts.
