UK Competition and Markets Authority seeks views on Microsoft and OpenAI partnership
According to Jinshi's report on December 8th, the UK Competition and Market Authority (CMA) is providing an early opportunity for all parties and relevant third parties to comment on whether the cooperation relationship between Microsoft and OpenAI (including recent developments) has led to related mergers, and if so, the possible impact of the merger on UK competition. The consultation is the first part of the information gathering process of the CMA, which is issued before the formal launch of the first stage investigation.
