Ethereum Team Lead Expresses Frustration Over Alma Mater's Lack of Interest in Collaboration Opportunities
Peter Szilagyi, the Ethereum team lead, has expressed disappointment with his former university's lack of interest in providing opportunities for students to collaborate with Ethereum. Despite delivering talks about Ethereum at his old university, Szilagyi felt that the students were more interested in the price of Ethereum than the project itself. He organized a grant for nine students to participate in Devconnect, but claims that the university neglected to respond to his emails. However, recent reports suggest a growing demand for crypto and blockchain courses in universities, with major companies actively hiring those with crypto and blockchain knowledge.
