Mark Cuban sells majority stake in Dallas Mavericks at $3.5 billion valuation
On November 29th, according to The Athletic reporter Shams Charania, Mark Cuban will sell the majority of the Dallas Mavericks to Miriam Adelson and the Adelson family, a casino industry tycoon, for an estimated value of $3.5 billion. As one of the most unique transactions in NBA history, Cuban will retain partial ownership of the team and control over the team's basketball operations. Previously, Mark Cuban bought the Dallas Mavericks for $285 million in 2000.
