Evmos plans to stop supporting Cosmos transactions and focus on EVM-based transactions
Layer1 blockchain Evmos' core team plans to stop supporting Cosmos transactions and instead focus on transactions based on the Ethereum EVM. This means that the core network will only support wallets and tools based on Ethereum, not wallets and tools designed for Cosmos. The transition to a single transaction format is expected to simplify the development workflow and improve the efficiency of Ethereum wallets on the network. Evmos announced a phased cessation of Cosmos transactions, with the goal of completing it fully in the third quarter of 2024. (The Block)
