A Russian man accused of creating an illegal Bitcoin exchange in Kazakhstan
A court in Kazakhstan is considering bringing criminal charges against the creator of the cryptocurrency exchange KZobmen for providing services without permission. The defendant is a 35-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation with a residency permit in Kazakhstan. He is registered as an individual entrepreneur in the country. He has not fully admitted his guilt.
