Grass launches Layer 2 data Rollup based on Solana, aiming to enhance the transparency of AI data sources
Grass announced that it is establishing a Layer 2 data Rollup based on Solana, aiming to solve the current data transparency issues in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Grass collects network data through its node network and cleanses and structures it for AI model training, rewarding contributions from nearly a million participants worldwide. This Layer 2 solution will allow metadata recording each time data is fetched to verify the source of the data, which will be permanently embedded into each dataset, enabling builders to trust the origin of their information. This move is expected to effectively combat data pollution, empower open-source AI, and provide users with visibility into AI models in daily interactions. To cope with scales reaching tens of millions of web page requests per minute, Grass will expand its protocol through Layer 2 using ZK processor for data verification providing persistent clues about sources for all produced datasets.
