The main concentration behind Bitcoin's creation was to set up a decentralized digital cash system without a central entity. Here, each participant in the network would have and maintain a record of the complete history of transactions, hence preventing double-spending and fraud.

Unlike traditional currencies, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin operate on a technology called blockchain. Blockchain is a decentralized technology spread across numerous computers managing and recording transactions. Cryptography ensures that transactions are secure and provides a method for creating strong virtual connections between parties. It secures transactions and controls the creation of new units.

Yet the fact is that the society is not running itself nicely... because the rest of us need all the energy, brains, imagination and talent that young people can bring to bear down on our difficulties." For society to attempt to solve its desperate problems without the full participation of even very young people is imbecile.
