Copy Trading Guide On The Bitget App For Followers

Step 1

Open the Bitget App and tap on [More] on the main page.

Step 2

Tap on the [Copy] icon. You'll be redirected to the [Discover] page of Bitget Copy Trading.

Step 3

Select the type of trades you want to copy between Futures copy trades, Spot copy trades, and Bot copy trades.

Futures Copy Trade Guide

STEP 1: As you select the [Futures] option, you'll be shown the top elite traders to follow. Sort out the list of elite traders based on your preferences by tapping on the area marked below.

STEP 2: You can further refine your preferred elite trader pool by tapping on the filter icon and adjusting the metrics provided.

STEP 3: Tap on the [Copy] button next to the elite trader you want to follow.

STEP 4: The default copying mode is [Diverse Mode], which allows followers to select how their trades should be duplicated in proportion to the elite trader's actions. With [Fixed], the follower sets a predetermined amount of funds that will be used for each trade, regardless of the size of the elite trader's position. With [Multiplier], the follower’s trade size is proportional to the elite trader's position size, based on a multiplier that the follower sets. The multiplier is a ratio that reflects the relationship between the follower’s equity and the elite trader’s equity.

Enter the amount you wish to allocate for each trade if you use [Fixed] or enter the desired multiplier if you use [Multiplier] and [Confirm].

STEP 5: If you want to further simplify trading, tap on the marked area above and select [Smart Copy]. Smart Copy Mode in Bitget Copy Trading automatically optimises the allocation of funds for each copied trade based on the elite trader’s performance and the follower's risk preferences.

STEP 6: You only have to enter the amount allocated for trades copied from this elite trader and [Confirm]. For advanced settings, tap on [More settings] to adjust.

Spot Copy Trade Guide

STEP 1: As you select the [Spot] option, you'll be shown the top elite traders to follow. Sort out the list of elite traders based on your preferences by tapping on the areas marked below.

STEP 2: Once you've found your preferred elite trader, tap on the [Copy] button next to their name. Keep in mind that with [Fixed], you set a specific amount of funds for each trade, independent of the elite trader's position size, while in [Multiplier], your trade size adjusts proportionally to the elite trader's position based on a multiplier that reflects the ratio between your equity and the trader's equity.

Enter the amount you wish to allocate for each trade if you use [Fixed] or specify the desired multiplier for [Multiplier], review the details and tap [Confirm].

STEP 3: If it shows [Full] next to the elite trader's name, you can continue to tap on that button and choose [Slot reminder] to receive notifications from our system when there's a slot available again.

Bot Copy Trade Guide

STEP 1: As you select the [Bots] option, you'll be shown the top bots/strategists to follow. Sort out the list of bots/strategists based on your preferences by tapping on the areas marked below.

On Bitget Copy Trading, Bots are automated trading programs that can execute trades on behalf of users based on pre-set algorithms and market conditions. These bots can be configured to follow specific strategies, such as grid trading or trend following, so that users can automate their trading activities and respond quickly to market changes without constant monitoring. Strategists, on the other hand, are professional traders or experts whose strategies can be followed by other users. These strategists share their trading methods, which followers can replicate automatically through the platform. Strategists often have proven track records and offer insights into their trading approaches.

STEP 2: Once you've selected your preferred Bot, tap on the [Free] button, enter the desired investment amount and [Confirm].

STEP 3: If you wish to follow a strategist, tap on the [Subscribe] button next to their name. You'll see a summary of their activities, including [Analytics], the [Bots] they have and have created, and their list of [Subscribers]. To proceed, tap on the [Free] button under their name and you'll be asked to fill in details for your to-be copied trades.

You can also review this strategist again by tapping on the marked arrow area. After reviewing your details carefully, tap [Free subscription].

Copy Trading Guide On The Bitget App For Elite Traders

Apply To Be An Elite Trader

STEP 1: As you select the [Futures] or [Spot] option, you'll see the banner as marked below. Tap on that banner to proceed.

STEP 2: Agree to our Elite Trader Agreement and tap [Apply now].

STEP 3: Fill in the required details and [Submit]. It'll take some time for us to review your application. Once it's done, we will notify you of your elite trader's status and how to proceed.

Create Your Own Bot(s)

In addition to becoming an elite trader, you can create your own bot and make it available for others to use on Bitget Copy Trading. Bitget allows experienced traders and developers to create and customise their own trading bots, which can then be offered to other users on the platform. By listing your bot, you can potentially earn income as other users subscribe to and use your bot for their trading activities. This feature provides an opportunity for those with expertise in algorithmic trading to monetise their strategies and contribute to the Bitget community.

STEP 1: As you select the [Bots] option, you'll see the option to [Create] your own bot(s).

STEP 2: Select the type of bot you want to create and fill in the details.
