What Is My Crypto Heroes (MCHC)?

Launched in September 2018, My Crypto Heroes was the first blockchain game developed by the Japan-native double jump.tokyo Inc., who is also the developer of (TSUGT) Captain Tsubasa. My Crypto Heroes is an Ethereum-based role-play game (RPG) that has recently celebrated its 5th anniversary with an in-person fan festo in November 2023. The game always has a high ranking on the list of most popular blockchains in Japan thanks to the indigenous plot and design.

How Does My Crypto Heroes (MCHC) Work?

The slogan of My Crypto Heroes is 'Your time and passion will become assets', meaning that when you spend time playing, you are actually investing because literally every item can be traded on NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea, from heroes, extensions, crafts, to lands. The idea is to encourage players to customise their heroes by sending them on quests to collect rare items, which, as NFTs, can be sold directly, or used to create valuable items and sold at higher prices. And of course, players can choose to engage in PvE and PvP battles for rewards, mainly in the form of My Crypto Heroes token MCHC, and fame.

The operation of My Crypto Heroes is decided by players who own MCHC. MCHC is also requested to get access to certain features in the game, for example, to mint the VIP pass with boosted voting power. Moreover, double jump.tokyo makes sure to increase MCHC use cases via their partnerships, that is, for MCHC holders to acquire NFTs of Crypto Spells, My Crypto Saga, Brave Frontier Heroes, NFTs on tofuNFT or use them directly in Prompt Monsters and Loot by Rogue.

The total supply of MCHC is 50,000,000 tokens, with only 60% available to the public. MCHC can only be obtained by converting in-game points and via staking or participating in marketing campaigns.
