SlowMist Cosine: Venus victim users' computers may have been targeted with poisoning attacks, and the hacker's actions were highly premeditated.
Foresight News reported that SlowMist founder Cosine has released the latest investigation results regarding the Venus attack incident: 1) There should be no issues with the Venus protocol itself, but the possibility of its front-end being hijacked cannot be ruled out, and a phishing attack may have been launched targeting large holders; 2) The victim's computer may have been specifically targeted with a poisoning attack, and related investigations are ongoing; 3) The hacker's actions were highly premeditated, and the source of funds is rather complex, with the funds used to pay for gas coming from Monero (XMR) exchanges. 4) The whale is currently in contact with them, and many details will not be disclosed for now. Additionally, the actual loss is also inaccurate and may not have exceeded 20 million USD.
