ChatGPT mobile app has generated $2 billion in revenue
According to a report by Jinse Finance, the latest analysis from app intelligence provider Appfigures shows that since its launch in May 2023, ChatGPT’s iOS and Android apps have generated $2 billion in global revenue. The analysis indicates that this figure is approximately 30 times the total mobile revenue of ChatGPT’s competitors, including Claude, Copilot, and Grok. Data reveals that so far this year, ChatGPT’s mobile app has achieved $1.35 billion in revenue, representing a 673% year-on-year increase compared to $174 million during the same period in 2024 (January to July). The app’s average monthly revenue is nearly $193 million, up from $25 million last year.
