According to a report by Jinse, WhaleAlert monitored that 2 minutes ago, Tether minted an additional 1 billion USDT on the Ethereum blockchain. Today, a total of 2 billion USDT has been newly minted. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that this issuance of 1 billion USDT is a replenishment of inventory. It is an authorized but unissued transaction, meaning the amount will be used as stock for the next issuance request and chain swap.
