The Bitcoin ecological protocol Fiamma has completed a seed round of financing of 4 million US dollars, led by Faction and others
On December 5, the Bitcoin ecosystem protocol Fiamma completed a $4 million seed round of financing. This round was led by Faction and L2 Iterative Ventures, with participation from the founders of BOB and SatLayeer, as well as AsteraVentures, ContributionCap and others. Fiamma aims to transform Bitcoin into a dynamic asset in a minimally trusted manner and build decentralized internet and financial systems on Bitcoin. It is addressing the programmability gap of Bitcoin through BitVM2, enabling Bitcoin to expand in a minimally trusted way and seamlessly interact with programmable blockchains.
By developing the smallest and most efficient fragmented ZK verifier (Fflonk and Groth16) in Bitcoin scripts, we have unlocked highly optimized ZK verification on Bitcoin for the first time.
