New Fraud Risk Advisory
The Bitget Security Team has recently identified fraudulent activities involving malicious actors impersonating Bitget on the WAXP blockchain. Hackers have registered blockchain accounts using the alias "bitget" to disguise themselves as official Bitget deposit addresses, misleading users into making transfers. These hackers falsely claim that the addresses belong to Bitget’s official hot wallet and that a withdrawal vulnerability exists. After users perform small test transactions, the hackers send an additional 5% to them from other accounts to deceive them. However, once users proceed with larger transfers, the hackers steal the principal amount and stop returning funds.
To protect your assets and prevent fraudulent activities, the Bitget Security Team strongly advises all users to always verify official Bitget deposit addresses before making deposits. Please refer to the following official Bitget deposit addresses for transactions, ensuring that the cryptocurrency type, chain, and hot wallet address match exactly with those listed below.
