On November 7th, Aleo Chinese community sent an open letter to a16z regarding the lawsuit filed by a16z against the original Aleo team in the US court, questioning whether it is true or not. The letter raised the following inquiries:

1. The Aleo community is curious about a16z's decision to invest in Aleo. Can a16z share its vision and key reasons for supporting Aleo?

2. The change in Aleo Network leadership, with Alex Purden, who has a background with a16z, replacing Howard Wu, has raised concerns within the community. Does this change align with Aleo Network's long-term goals and strategies?

3. Rumors are spreading about a16z and other venture capital firms filing legal lawsuits against the original Aleo team in the US court, causing deep concerns within the community. The community is questioning whether these rumors are true.

Note: In April 2021, Aleo raised $28 million with a16z as the lead investor. In February 2022, Aleo completed a $200 million Series B financing round with SoftBank and Kora Management as lead investors. However, after the mainnet launched on September 18, 2024, Aleo failed to gain community recognition and was instead flooded with a lot of doubts, especially from miners. Many users on social media have expressed that this is another failed case of a "king" turning to "nothing."
