Analyst: Ether's Biggest Problem Is the Risk of Value Hollowing Out
Bitget news, crypto analyst crypto big hunter posted that ethereum's biggest problem is the risk of value hollowing out, the problems that exist in ethereum and EOS are still very different, EOS is from the ecology to the value of the total death of the ecology of EOS has not really done. The Ethernet ecosystem is still very prosperous, especially the Ethernet L2 ecosystem is still developing rapidly. The biggest problem currently existing in Ether is the hollowing out of value. On the one hand, the developers, funds and users of the main Ethernet network are flowing to L2 in a steady stream, pushing the L2 ecosystem towards prosperity; on the other hand, the current ability of the main Ethernet network to capture the value of the L2 ecosystem is extremely weak, and it can't get corresponding compensation from the development of the L2 ecosystem.
Taking Base as an example, only about 1% of the gas fees it collects eventually flows to the main network. The problem with $ETH is somewhat similar to $ATOM. While the Cosmos ecosystem is booming, $ATOM is not able to capture the value in it, so it's going down. While $ETH is not as extreme as $ATOM, it does have momentum. Although V God recently proposed the alignment of ethereum, aimed at solving the current problems of ethereum, but the L2 ecosystem has already flourished, the tail is not big, and the alignment and the rise of arbitrum, OP, Base and other L2 leaders have a serious conflict of interest, it is difficult to make these L2 leaders to sacrifice their own interests in order to achieve the alignment of ethereum. So the prospect of Ether alignment is hardly optimistic.
