SPACE ID integrates MetaMask Snaps, launches Web3 domain name Snap, simplifies EVM chain encryption transactions
Starting October 21, MetaMask users can register custom SPACE ID domains and map them to all crypto public addresses.
SPACE ID, the interoperable Web3 domain name service platform, announced the launch of SPACE ID Web3 domain Snap integrated with MetaMask, making transactions on EVM-compatible chains as easy as sending a Telegram message.
This industry-leading integration allows SPACE ID users to replace all public wallet addresses with a single, secure, and customizable username when transacting on MetaMask. Instead of entering complex 42-character combinations, users can safely send cryptocurrency with a simple username, avoiding the loss of funds due to errors.
Starting October 21, MetaMask users can register custom SPACE ID domains and map them to all crypto public addresses. As part of the launch, SPACE ID will be launching a giveaway on the Galxe platform, where users can receive a $5 free domain name gift card and have a chance to share in a prize pool of up to $10,000 in ID tokens.
SPACE ID Snaps work on all EVM-compatible blockchains, allowing users to manage and store multi-chain usernames in a single wallet. SPACE ID usernames can completely replace cumbersome crypto addresses for sending and receiving cryptocurrency, ensuring the security and verifiability of transactions.
SPACE ID Snaps solve two major problems in the Web3 space: complex user experience and insufficient security. According to CertiK, since January, hackers have caused nearly $2 billion in cryptocurrency losses, so transaction security is critical. Snaps minimize the risk of human error and significantly reduce the possibility of address spoofing scams.
Harrison Seletsky, SPACE ID Business Development Director, said: "We are very happy to introduce SPACE ID Snaps to the MetaMask community. This integration will greatly enhance the security and convenience of digital asset management, which is highly consistent with our mission to simplify Web3 interactions."
MetaMask Developer Innovation Product Lead Christian Montoya then said: "Snaps like SPACE ID make it easier and safer for MetaMask users to send and receive cryptocurrencies on any EVM-compatible chain. This release reflects our common vision of simplifying Web3 operations and improving user experience."
