Gitcoin announced that GG20 has been launched, providing a total of more than 1.4 million US dollars in matching funds
Mars Finance News, according to official news, Gitcoin announced that Gitcoin Grants 20 (GG20) donations are now open. As of 7:59 on May 8, a total of more than 1.4 million US dollars in matching funds have been provided. GG20 will run on Arbitrum.
It is reported that the matching pool of US$1 million has been allocated to the Gitcoin Open Source Software (OSS) program, which has four dedicated OSS rounds, including Hackathon Alumni matching funds of US$100,000, dApps & Apps matching funds of US$300,000, Matching funding is $300,000 for developer tools and libraries and $300,000 for Web3. Also included are five community rounds, with ENS matching funding of $100,000, Climate Solutions matching funding of $300,000, Open Civics matching funding of $41,000, Hypercerts Ecosystem matching funding of $35,000, Token Engineering Commons Matching funds are $50,000.
It is worth mentioning that GG20 uses Gitcoin Passport to prevent witch attacks automatically, without the need to collect stamps.
