Developers can stake FORT to vote on bots of high quality, thus improving the quality of bots on Forta Network and the chances of risk detection. Besides, FORT also works as the governance token of Forta Network.
How Many Forta (FORT) Tokens Are In Circulation?
The total FORT supply is 1,000,000,000 tokens, with nearly half of the supply (45.5%) dedicated to the community. A 30% is allocated to OpenZeppelin, a leading blockchain security firm, and its members who developed Forta and comes with a 4-year linear vesting (1-year cliff included). And the remaining 24.5% belongs to backers of the projects, many of whom have been node runners of the network since the very beginning.
