From Insight to Action
In May 2023,
Blockchain4Youth was launched as part of Bitget’s commitment to foster blockchain adoption among young generations. Inspired by an extensive
six-month study, which engaged 255,000 respondents across 26 countries, the findings were striking: 46% of Millennials are actively engaged with cryptocurrencies. This significant involvement underscores their readiness to lead in the adoption of blockchain technologies.
Gracy Chen, Managing Director of Bitget, responded to these insights by emphasizing the broader goals of the initiative, stating,
"Blockchain4Youth was born to harness this potential. Our aim extends beyond education; we aspire to cultivate a community prepared to innovate with blockchain."
Our Achievements
Blockchain4Youth aims to revolutionize blockchain education, turning abstract concepts into practical, real-world applications. Our commitment to empowering youth extends beyond conventional frameworks. Blockchain4Youth has pioneered a series of
educational initiatives that have connected thousands of young people with the tools and knowledge to understand and leverage blockchain technology.
50 Universities: Through engaging workshops, collaborative projects, and strategic
partnerships with over 50 universities — including prestigious institutions such as National Technological University in Argentina, National Taiwan University Blockchain Society in Taiwan and Ateneo De Manila University in the Philippines — we've laid down a solid foundation for accessible and impactful learning about crypto and blockchain.
2,000 Certificates: Our
comprehensive blockchain courses cover a wide array of topics, ranging from the fundamentals of blockchain to future technologies and practical applications. Through our online platform, we've made education accessible to individuals who may not have the opportunity to attend conventional in-person learning environments, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving blockchain landscape. In one year, over 2,000 certificates have been issued to youngsters who have completed all the courses.
6,000 Participants: Over the past year, our efforts have centered on making blockchain education more hands-on and relevant to real-world applications. Participants have had the opportunity to learn through interactive sessions, discussions with industry experts, and participation in events such as hackathons that emphasize practical problem-solving skills within the blockchain ecosystem, engaging over 6,000 participants.
Looking to the Future
"
With the momentum we've built this year, we're ready to elevate our initiatives to even greater heights,"
Gracy Chen projects with anticipation.
Bitget's commitment to blockchain education remains steadfast as we continue to focus on providing educational courses to youth, offering more scholarships, making blockchain technology more accessible, and developing new online courses in collaboration with leading blockchain experts.
Join us on this momentous occasion as we celebrate our achievements and unveil new ventures that will continue to empower and inspire. Don't forget to visit our revamped
