‘We end up with a far more accurate AI agent’: Theta Labs CEO on Rockets’ ClutchBot
The Houston Rockets announced earlier this week “ClutchBot,” a generative AI-powered mascot as part of a partnership with Theta Labs.
The collaboration marks the NBA’s first use of artificial intelligence to improve fan interaction. The project wants to change how fans follow the team through real-time updates, statistics, and ticketing information through the Rockets’ website and app.
The AI platform is built on Theta Labs’ decentralized EdgeCloud infrastructure. It takes advantage of cutting-edge AI to provide personalized, always-on support for fan inquiries.
It is trained specifically on Rockets and NBA data so it can provide accurate answers for basic questions like “when is the next game?” to historical performance stats and lineup details.
Just like Jalen Green’s hot hands to tie the series against the Golden State Warriors, the Rockets aren’t just launching threes, they’re launching into the future.
Powered by Theta’s Layer-1 blockchain and decentralized GPU network, ClutchBot delivers fast and secure interactions backed by more than 80 PetaFLOPS of compute power. crypto.news: What natural language processing capabilities allow ClutchBot to understand nuanced fan questions like historical stats or player comparisons? Mitch Liu: ClutchBot leverages state-of-the-art NLP techniques, including agentic AI workflows and LLM fine-tuning on realtime and domain-specific data. This allows it to interpret the intent behind user queries, retrieve the relevant data, and generate coherent answers accurately and quickly. CN: What challenges did you encounter adding API data with the Rockets’ proprietary database for ClutchBot’s? What other kinds of challenges did you face? ML: Integrating API data from the Rockets’ proprietary data sources posed several challenges. For example, we had to build a robust data aggregation system to unify and reconcile realtime data from different APIs, which returned data in different formats and contained inconsistent information. We also had to minimize hallucination as much as possible, particularly with important game, team and player information. We implemented advanced prompt engineering techniques along with a continuous model finetuning framework which would quickly incorporate new information as data are generated in realtime. CN: What role did Theta’s EdgeCloud play in powering ClutchBot? Why use EdgeCloud? Why not use centralized compute alternatives like AWS or Azure? ML: Think of EdgeCloud as an intelligent orchestration software that can route specific AI jobs to the most efficient and cost-effective option. Sometimes you don’t need A100 or H100 GPU to handle a request that a commercial grade Nvidia 3090/4090 GPU can, run by our Theta community stakeholders. They get rewarded with TFUEL tokens and run on the underlying Theta blockchain, and partners benefit from flexibility and peak time scaling which is critical in live sports entertainment. CN: How are you going to collect feedback from users/fans to improve ClutchBot and troubleshoot issues post-launch, especially during the 2025–26 NBA season? ML: The AI fine tuning and improvement process occurs continuously behind the scenes and in the future through direct user feedback via incentive user engagement tokens. As we expand the number of sports partners, we begin to get the benefit of improved issue troubleshooting as one fix would benefit all partners. In the end, we end up with a far more accurate, and engaging conversational AI agent.

Floki Inu (FLOKI) Surges Over 30% In a Week as Analysts Anticipate Breakout This Weekend
Meme coin Floki Inu (FLOKI) is once again making headlines after a sharp price rally. Over the past 24 hours, FLOKI surged by more than 32%, outperforming other popular meme coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. At the time of writing, Floki Inu is trading at $0.0000792, with analysts predicting that the coin could soon test the $0.0001 level if bullish surge continues.
Crypto analyst Shiba Knight believes FLOKI may be on the verge of a major breakout. According to them, the meme coin is “at an interesting spot” and could soon see a powerful move upward.
Notably, Floki Inu is the only one among the major meme coins from the last cycle — Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Floki — to actually hit a new all-time high (ATH) during the current market cycle.

Despite rising competition from newer tokens like PEPE, FARTCOIN and BONK, FLOKI has shown impressive strength across multiple cycles. “Floki’s next move could be face-melting ,” Knight said.
Floki’s price chart shows a strong bullish breakout pattern. The token has attempted to break its all-time high (ATH) multiple times in the past and still holds potential for another upward move.
Another analyst said that FLOKI’s trading volume has broken out, and the price looks close to doing the same. If the breakout happens, FLOKI could see a strong rally—possibly gaining nearly 270% and reaching around $0.00027.
On-chain data seems to support the bullish outlook. Information from The Block reveals a 10% rise in large transaction volume and an 18% increase in active wallet addresses.
These metrics suggest growing interest and activity from investors. Additionally, data indicates over 52% of FLOKI holders are currently in profit, which is somewhat unusual for a meme coin and could point to stronger holding conviction.
The Floki team announced a strategic partnership with Rize Robots, the company behind Rize AI, backed by major firms like NVIDIA, SoftBank, and Alibaba Enterprise Fund.

End Of The Dollar's Reign? The Euro Has A Historic Card To Play
Europe has seen storms, crises, doubts come and go. But rarely has such a large window of opportunity opened. Since Donald Trump’s United States has been playing geopolitical roulette with tariffs and chaining economic provocations, a crack is forming in the armor of the king dollar. And in this breach, the euro, often mocked for its hesitations, could well invite itself to the table of the major global currencies. Even better, it could soon impose itself there.
Since Donald Trump’s inauguration , the dollar no longer shines as much. In April, the DXY index – which measures the strength of the greenback against major currencies – fell by 10%. A real slide fueled by the political whims of the White House and public criticisms against the Federal Reserve.
Europe, thanks to its stability and investments, will benefit from the fall of the dollar.
This falling out with the dollar is pushing investors to rethink their cards. And guess who is about to play their ace? The euro. The single currency has never really been able to take advantage of its massive economic potential. But today, the cards are being reshuffled . If Europe seizes the moment, it can impose its currency as a global monetary pillar.
Certainly, nothing is decided yet. The euro still lacks a “safe asset“, a safe haven equivalent to US Treasury bonds. This monetary grail, used as universal collateral, is sorely missing in the Old Continent. Yet the foundations are there: a strong European Central Bank, a banking sector of $34 trillion, 40% larger than that of the United States. That is no small matter.
The big question is this: can the euro become a reserve currency without a worthy safe asset? So far, attempts have failed: the “stability bonds” of 2011, the “ESBies” of 2018, or even the post-Covid NextGenerationEU program – all suffered from a lack of political consensus. The idea of mutualized debt in the eurozone remains taboo for several capitals.
But times are changing. Under the pressure of an unpredictable America, some dogmas are wavering. Germany itself, long champion of budgetary orthodoxy, has crossed a Rubicon by launching a massive defense and infrastructure plan funded by debt. And if this were only the beginning?
As the Institute of Liberties reminded us:
There have been far more dollars for sale than euros to buy. […] And that’s why your daughter is mute, Molière would have said.
Simply put, flows are reversing. The euro is rising, the dollar is wavering, bitcoin persists, and the public, once skeptical, is beginning to believe in the potential of a strong European currency backed by a more integrated economic policy.
Speculation is rampant. For the euro to impose itself, there will need to be a shock. What if this shock came not from finance, but from politics? As in 2020 with Covid, a crisis can sometimes accelerate changes more than a European summit. Perhaps Trump, in weakening the dollar, will inadvertently do a proud service to the currency he loves to hate.
Confidence is contagious, especially when it affects wallets. While Wall Street logs its worst sessions in two years, the euro benefits. Not only is the currency climbing, but capital follows. Large funds are repatriating their assets from America to reinvest them on European soil.
It’s a reversed domino effect: the imbalance on one side breathes life into the other.
The consequence? A euro flirting with peaks, gold shining like never before, and oil climbing, fueled by hopes (illusory?) of a Sino-American trade truce . Even European bonds are regaining color. The yield on German Bunds is slowly rising, evidence of renewed interest in the bloc’s sovereign debts.
And in all this upheaval, one question keeps coming up: can the euro take over from the dollar? For DerivativesProFR, the time may have come:

An equation that pleases investors seeking stability. And when the word “stability” rhymes with “Europe”, it means something has changed.
On the stock market too, the signs don’t lie. At every Wall Street crisis, Europe has sometimes managed to come out ahead . This was the case in 2001, in 2008 to a lesser extent, and today history might repeat itself. The recent Nasdaq drop combined with the euro’s revaluation of over 11% against the dollar shows that financial tectonic plates are shifting. So yes, the euro is not king yet. But on this world economic stage, it could well land a leading role. And this time, without a double.

The crypto task force led by Hester Peirce is not ending there as they also announced another roundtable meeting today, April 25, to deliberate on custody. According to the information at our disposal, representatives of several renowned companies like WisdomTree, Anchorage Digital Bank, Kraken, etc, would be in attendance.
Ondo Finance exists as a blockchain-based financial platform focused on tokenizing traditional assets. In December, it donated $1 million to Donald Trump’s inauguration fund. In March, its CEO, Nathan Allman, speculated that he could attend a white house event, underscoring his close relationship with the current administration.
Prior to that, the platform announced a strategic partnership with MasterCard to expand access to Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization, as indicated in our previous report.
The price of ONDO has surged by 15% in the last 24 hours and 22% in the last seven days to trade at $1.01. According to our recent analysis , the asset could rise by 2x to 3x from the current position.
The Roundtable discussion today forms part of the four-day (April 11, April 25, May 12, June 6) program, earlier announced to get experts’ positions on the current regulatory issues and how they can be solved. Today’s program will feature two panels. One would be about “Investment Adviser and Investment Company Custody,” while the other focuses on “Custody Through Broker-Dealers and Beyond”.
While the opening mark would come from leading SEC figures like Paul Atkins, the participants, who include legal and academic experts, would join the discussion. Meanwhile, some of these experts have already declared their positions on the subject in the past.

Tokenized Real Estate Could Hit $4T In 10 Years Says Deloitte Report
Deloitte has once again highlighted the issue of tokenization, this time with a sharp prediction that the tokenized real estate market could reach a value of $4 trillion in the next ten years. That figure is not just wishful thinking.
The reason is, currently, the market value has exceeded $290 billion, and continues to rise thanks to the influx of large institutions and advances in blockchain infrastructure. Deloitte sees that the breakdown of asset ownership through tokens is no longer just a technological experiment. It is starting to become a new ownership model that can reach anyone.
Furthermore, this trend does not stand alone. CNF reports that the total value of real-world assets (RWA) locked in the DeFi ecosystem has exceeded $10 billion. Four major protocols have even managed more than $1 billion each.
This shows that interest in tokenization is not just a temporary hype. Especially with the increasingly massive scale of institutional adoption, plus advances in the scalability of blockchain networks.
On the other hand, the ecosystem is also getting a boost from major blockchain projects. One of them comes from the Stellar Development Foundation, which on April 17, 2025 announced an aggressive plan to increase the value of real-world assets tokenized on its network to $3 billion by the end of this year.
In comparison, at the end of 2024, the figure had only reached $290 million. This increase is certainly not just a promise, considering that they have already pocketed support from companies such as Paxos, SG Forge, Etherfuse, and Ondo .
Still on the subject of optimism, a joint report by Ripple and Boston Consulting Group on April 13, 2025 estimated that the real-world asset tokenization market would grow from $600 billion this year to $18.9 trillion in 2033. A fairly crazy jump.
But when you look at the names that have entered the arena—namely BlackRock, HSBC, and Fidelity—the figure suddenly seems reasonable. BlackRock’s Larry Fink himself once said that “every asset can be tokenized.”
However, it is not only institutions that are driving this growth. Regulation also plays a significant role. In April 2025, the total value of real-world assets tokenized jumped 17 percent in just one month, to $14 billion.
The reason? Not only because of investor interest, but also because of the clarity of regulations in several jurisdictions such as the UK, Switzerland, and Singapore . This increasingly supportive regulation gives market players more confidence.

Tokenization paves the way for fractional ownership of property that can be accessed with a click, rather than a long bureaucratic process.
